Terry Fontenot got one of his former CFL finds to join him in Atlanta, though Harris is a few years removed from playing with the Saints (having joined the Raiders and won a starting job in the meantime). Harris has a good opportunity to continue starting with the Falcons given the sad state of their roster and how few resources Fontenot has to work with in rebuilding.

Collins is fun to watch drop in coverage. His movements are fluid, and he has good mental processing to understand route concepts (he actually played quarterback in high school). It also doesn’t hurt that he can use his length to disrupt passing windows. On this play, he’s reading the quarterback the whole way and is in decent position to make a play on the ball. He barely misses the pass deflection but stays with the play and comes up with an interception on a tipped ball.
Franks resurfaced as an NFL prospect with some strong games for the Hogs in 2020 after an up-and-down Gators career. But he’s a developmental backup pocket passer at best. If your team drafts him as a potential future starter, your team is in big trouble, and is also probably the Bears.

Jackson now goes from a Philadelphia Eagles team on a pseudo rebuild to a Cleveland Browns squad with Super Bowl aspirations in 2021. Not a bad landing spot for the veteran defensive tackle.

The Cardinals suffered from poor center play in 2020, which put extra stress on guards Justin Pugh and Justin Murray. The acquisition of Hudson should allow both guards to be better in 2021. Hudson will also be tasked with making calls along the offensive line, which should make everyone better.
On Thursday, the Falcons announced that Gono signed his second-round tender, which pays him $3.3 million and keeps him in Atlanta for another year at least.
