Patrick Kane, CHI vs. FLA ($32): Kane has been productive and a force on the ice, which is why his salary is so lofty. Of course, that gives him a lot to live up to in order to provide value, and Kane only has one goal in his last nine games. Chris Driedger has been impressive in net for the Panthers, as he has a 2.22 GAA and .924 save percentage, but even Sergei Bobrovsky has been better recently. Over his last 11 starts the Russian has a .914 save percentage.
The Canes have been able to string together two decent winning streaks this season: a five-game stretch in January and an eight-game stretch in March. They've also had two three-game losing streaks.

Frederik Andersen hasn't been at his best this season, and he has a nagging lower-body injury. Instead of acquiring a goalie, the Maple Leafs will finish the season and ride into the playoffs with Jack Campbell as their No. 1.
Now, there will be lapses. Jarry and DeSmith will likely hit a lull or two. But the bigger picture indicates that the Penguins could be viable, even if they might not always look pretty — including possibly against the lowly Sabres.
Class president: Auston Matthews has 21 goals in 27 games, the best goal production season of his career. He's been a dominating presence, especially on the power play where he has eight goals. A legit Hart Trophy candidate even if he doesn't end up leading his own team in points.
